We ship our cookie dough frozen using carefully selected insulated packaging to keep it in optimal condition during transit. While this works well under normal conditions, higher temperatures can affect product quality.
For this reason, when temperatures are forecast to exceed 25°C, we may temporarily pause dispatch of frozen cookie dough orders. As soon as conditions improve, your order will be shipped without delay.
This approach ensures your product arrives in the best possible condition.
If you require your order urgently, you’re very welcome to collect directly from us in Sherburn-in-Elmet, Leeds. Simply select collection at checkout and call 01977 686958 to arrange a suitable time.
Shipping Costs
Frozen products - Next Day Service
£6.90 for parcels up to 20kg.
£5.00 for every additional parcel up to 20kg after that.
Ambient products - Next Day Service (not guaranteed next day)
£3.95 up to 2kg in a single parcel
£6.05 - 2kg-10kg in a single parcel
Then an additional £2.10 per 10kg parcel (or part thereof)
If ordering a mixture of Frozen and Ambient products, we will charge frozen shipping rates plus the appropriate Ambient shipping cost.
Highland, Islands, Guernsey and Isle of Man have their own shipping charges which will be displayed during checkout.
Delivery Information
We aim to dispatch all ambient orders the same day when placed before 2pm, Monday–Friday, using a 24-hour courier service within mainland UK.
Please note:
- Deliveries to remote areas may take 24–48 hours or longer
- Frozen products are dispatched Monday–Thursday only to maintain product quality during transit
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details via the email address and phone number provided at checkout.
If you would like your order delivered on a specific day, please leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate this. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee this or offer timed delivery services.
Frozen Products
All frozen orders are shipped in insulated packaging (using kerbside recyclable materials where possible) to maintain temperature during transit.
To ensure product quality:
- Please transfer items to a freezer immediately upon delivery
- We strongly recommend tracking your order and ensuring someone is available to receive it
If a delivery attempt is missed, the parcel will be retained by the courier. Due to the perishable nature of frozen goods, these items cannot be resold, and we reserve the right to retain the full order value in such cases.
Collections

If collecting frozen products, please ensure you have appropriate transport and storage to maintain product quality. We cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from incorrect handling after collection.
REFUND POLICY
If any of our products arrive in less than satisfactory condition, we will be happy to offer a replacement or refund for the affected items.
Please note:
- This does not apply to frozen products where delivery has been delayed or missed due to no one being available at the delivery address
- Due to strict allergen controls, we are unable to accept returns to our premises
- This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights
Reporting an Issue
Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order (this period begins the day after delivery).
Please contact us at sales@blingingredients.com with details of the issue. We may request additional information, such as photos of the damaged or defective items, to help resolve the matter. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch only.
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing to sales@blingingredients.com
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days
- All cancellations will be confirmed by us for your peace of mind
Delivery Responsibility
Orders will be dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout. We cannot accept responsibility for:
- Incorrect addresses or postcodes provided by the purchaser
- Failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate information
In such cases, we are unable to refund postage costs or offer compensation for affected goods.
