Cookie Dough Delivery Information

Our cookie dough is fully frozen to keep it in the best shape and quality. We use regular courier van services for our deliveries and pack the cookie dough in insulated packaging with cooling packs to maintain chilled temperatures below 8°C. The cookie dough must be placed in a freezer immediately on arrival & stored according to the BBE info on the label. Alternatively, it can be placed in a chiller and used within one week.

In warm weather the cookie is likely to have defrosted and appear soft, but can be used/stored as normal as long as the temperature has not exceeded 8°C. The temperature reading should be taken of the cookie dough itself (within the bag) i.e. not of the exterior packaging. If the cookie dough appears soft it is important not to squash the packaging or remove the bag from the box until the cookie dough is fully frozen back into hard pieces. This is to avoid compressing the cookie dough pieces into each other.

For most addresses within mainland UK we ship our bulk cookie dough orders using a next day delivery service and use a cardboard/paper insulated packaging system which is fully kerbside recyclable. If we experience hot weather we sometimes switch to packaging bulk cookie dough orders in a polystyrene based packaging system. In sustained periods of extreme hot weather exceeding 25°C we may have to halt deliveries of cookie dough until the temperatures improve. If this is the case, we will notify you of the delay and despatch as soon as conditions allow, to ensure your cookie dough arrives in optimal condition.
