Did you know you can make cake from ice cream?!
Yeah we were shocked too, but its totally possible, you can find the recipe below.
We grabbed a 500ml tub of salted caramel ice cream (but you can use any flavour ice cream), a pouch of our tasty brownie dough chunks and a small amount of self raising flour to create our dreamy cookie dough ice cream cake.
Recipe:
- 500ml salted caramel ice cream
- 156g self raising flour
- 50g Bling Ingredients brownie dough
Method:
Empty a 500ml tub of ice cream into a microwavable bowl and heat until the ice cream is almost melted.
Mix Bling brownie dough or cookie dough chunks into the softened ice cream, and fold in the self raising flour gently. We used brownie dough to get a really good colour contrast.
Pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin and pop in the oven for 30 minutes on 140c
Allow the cake to cool fully before turning out onto a board and slicing.

We used brownie dough as a filling for our cake but you could use any of our products that bake well such as our range of cookie dough, bake stable caramel fudge pieces, brownie dohNugs or even our milk chocolate caramel cups.
