Looking for a great way to enjoy your pancakes? Try baking our bake stable caramel fudge into pancake batter and add cocoa powder to the batter for extra chocolatey goodness!
Ingredients
100g Bling Bake Stable Caramel Fudge and extra to serve!
225g self-raising flour
50g cocoa powder (to make plain pancakes substitute for more flour)
1tsp baking powder
Pinch salt
1 tbsp caster sugar
2 large eggs
400ml whole milk
For Frying
1 tbsp vegetable oil
50g unsalted butter
Method
Step 1 – Sieve flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together and whisk with caster sugar and salt.
Step 2 – Whisk eggs and milk in a separate bowl and slowly add to dry mixture making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl.
Step 3 – Add half of the fudge to the mixture.
Step 4 – Add a small amount of oil and butter to a frying pan and heat. Once bubbling add 2-3 tbsp of pancake batter and sprinkle a generous amount of bake stable fudge on top. Cook for 2 minutes and flip. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 5 – Transfer to a plate and repeat step 4 until all batter is gone.
Step 6 – Add extra toppings (we dunked ours in chocolate and then dipped them in salted caramel sugar pearls or popping candy) and enjoy!
