Cookie Dough Dessert…Breakfast Edition!
We’ve noticed that baked oats are trending on Tiktok— more importantly, desserts oats! So of course, we jumped at the opportunity to see what yummy creation we could come up with...
These Chocolate Baked Oats filled with our Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are a super delicious, more-ish treat, that is 100% acceptable to eat for breakfast (well...sort of). It takes just over 20 minutes to make and using only a handful of ingredients. When topped off with peanut butter or Nutella you will be craving it for breakfast every day!
Ingredients
Handful of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough pieces
1 cup oats
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tbsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla extract
Half banana smashed
½ cup milk
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees°C
Mash the banana with a fork and put this in a bowl. Add the oats, milk, cocoa powder and salt, baking powder, vanilla extract and stir everything together.
Add the Cookie Dough pieces, mix well and put everything in an oven dish.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
To make the baked oaty deliciousness even better add a blob of Nutella & peanut butter on top...enjoy!
